Welcome to Akhal-Teke.ca; celebrating and promoting the Akhal Teke breed of horse in Canada.
Our goal is to help promote these amazing Argamaks and just to admire and enjoy them. Join us to help develop a fun and friendly group where we can both enjoy and learn more about Akhal-Tekes!

And visit (both virtually and in person!) the Akhal-Teke stud farms in Canada. There are currently a huge group of Akhal-Tekes in Calgary with two stud farms located there and one in Lumby, BC as well as a growing number of new owners with Akhal-Teke horses.
The only recognized purebred Akhal-Teke registration is in the official VNIIK (the Russian state scientific institution) studbook. Some of us are working with the Akhal-Teke Horse Registry to obtain registrations for all our Akhal-Teke horses. Please see the registration page for information and guidelines.
